HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PASTEL ARTWORKS

It's important to know that pastel paintings are fragile, as they are made of pure pigment that is dry and very dusty. A smudge on a pastel painting can drastically change the artwork!
 

I create my pastel works with an edge to the painting that is safe to handle. In the case of a framed work, you may handle it by the mat or frame in addition to the edge of the painting.
